this is where i go to school. they don’t cancel classes due to the weather, but they do stop running the buses. currently trying to regain warmth in my entire body.
Reblogging for the awesome factor. We (or I do, at least) get emails from our profs here at SUNY Oswego that pretty much boil down to “Suck it up you pussies, class is still on. But be safe walking!”
SUNY Oswego is so unfriendly to commuters for this reason.
I tried so hard to make it to my one class today and it just was not happening without buses.

I have lived in this my entire life. This is nothing. Srsly, lol. No, really, it’s nothing.
There’s a policy for commuters on campus that states that the professors are obligated to accommodate you for anything you miss if you’re unable to make it to class due to weather or if you feel unsafe driving here, if you’re that much of a wuss. :) K. On-campus noobs have no reason to skip unless it’s like a tornado mixed with snow. Then maybe they would understand. Mhm.
